Pricing questions
What's a credit?

Each request consumes credits weighted by its real cost. Images, PDFs, and batch ZIPs are 1 credit each — fast Sharp processing. Video jobs start at 10 credits and scale with source size (≈1 credit per 5 MB). This way a 200 KB thumbnail doesn't subsidize someone else's 200 MB video.
How do I know what a video will cost before I submit?

The dashboard shows a live estimate next to the 'Queue Cloud Job' button as soon as you pick a file: "Cost: 30 credits · 9,970 remaining this month". You'll never be surprised.
What if I hit my monthly credit limit?

The API returns 429 with a clear error. We won't silently overcharge — you decide whether to upgrade or wait for the next cycle. Polling video job status is always free.
Why are there file size caps per plan?

These caps apply to cloud processing (API and dashboard video jobs): Free is capped at 50 MB videos so a single user can't accidentally run up our worker bill, Pro raises it to 500 MB, and Enterprise allows files up to 5 GB. The free in-browser tool is separate — it processes videos locally on your device, so it accepts larger files without touching your plan limit.
Do failed requests cost credits?

No — only successful (2xx) responses are billed. If a request errors out, it's logged with 0 credits.
Can I use my own brand font?

Yes, on Pro and Enterprise. Upload a .ttf or .otf file under Fonts in the dashboard (or via POST /v1/fonts), then pass its font_id in any image, PDF, or video request. Pro includes up to 10 fonts; Enterprise is unlimited. Any glyph your font is missing falls back to the built-in font, so text never breaks. Using a custom font doesn't change a request's credit cost.
Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrades are immediate; downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle. No long-term commitments.
Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The free tier doesn't require billing details. You only add a card when you upgrade to Pro.
